Posted on 08 February 2010

superbowl 2If you were rooting for the underdog and enjoy a good football game yesterday’s Superbowl certainly delivered. If you tune in mostly to hang with friends, indulge in tasty treats and enjoy the most expensive and hyped commercial blocks of network TV you were mostly disappointed, confused and then, let’s face it, outraged. Of the night, a certain tire manufacturer caused us the most ire with a man choosing to abandon his wife instead of giving up his tires to a gang of thieves. Who are the producers who choose to represent the men we know and love as misogynistic, spineless and put upon victims? We know the men in our lives have certain rituals and bonding moments that belong to them but hardly at the expense or insult to the women they love and care about. If you are writing in to the companies let us know! Share your voice, share your Actionist® moves. We are reading a lot of discontent all over the boards. We need to get those messages into the networks, the companies and the ad agencies. The best course of action is to contact  CBS to tell them exactly what you think about the ads.
